 Day 2
Can you say Fiji Time.
For those of you that have been to Fiji and have participated in a construction trip, you can relate to this term. A successful trip is not measured by how far you get with your construction project but by the relationships that are built. Our team has learned a lot over the last few days, the culture in Fiji is all about relationships. Our American way of thinking (get the job done ASAP) does not apply here. So if that means you need to put down the hammer and saw to slide in the mud (like Peter) with the kids or spend an extra hour at lunch talking with one of the moms to do it because that is why we are here.
It is amazing to witness God's love and grace at work here at Homes of Hope.

 Can I get a witness?
AMEN, Sun Valley! So glad to know that you and the team "get it" already. Relationships ARE what it's about there and regardless of how you plan, there will always be project(s) left unfinished.
Enjoy yourselves and we hope to join you there one day in the near future!
